Giant Cupcake Cake Pan a Huge Hit!

I bought the Giant Cupcake Cake Pan at Sur La Table (I really love this store!) right before 4th of July and it was a huge hit! My 5 year old, 22 month old and I made it on the 4th of July and it was great! It was fun to make, fun to decorate and fun to EAT! My 5 year old thought it was hilarious that it was a giant cupcake. It was great and made a great "talking piece" on the dessert table for the party we went to!

This would be a great thing to make for a first birthday- let the birthday boy/girl smash it and serve cupcakes to everyone else! I'm pretty sure me and the kids will be making this again in the next few weeks just for fun!

OK, and I know this is not the best decorated Cupcake Cake ever (I'm pretty sure Martha would have turned up her nose)- but here was our creation and what happened to it!
